Henry Charles Trost, Architect in Arizona Photos

Influenced by Louis Sullivan & Frank Lloyd Wright, Trost moved from Chicago to Tucson in 1899 & then on to El Paso in 1903. He partnered with Robert Rust until Rust died in 1905, then formed the firm of Trost & Trost with his brother. Trost's style was a mix of Wright & Southwestern Spanish.
