Denver Public Library Photos

The Denver Public Library (1995) by Michael Graves of Brian Klipp is a Postmodern structure with multicolored square and round towers capped by pyramids and wooded mining-style beams. Sitting across from the sculpted Denver Arts Museum and the Colorado History Museum it shares in creating an intellectual arts district called the Golden Triangle. The Library incorporates a 1955 wing and features sculptures on its grounds including a horse standing on a giant chair.
