Mississippi River Scenes along River Road in Louisiana Photos

The Mississippi River between New Orleans & Baton Rouge, LA is hemmed in on both sides by massive dikes to the point that drivers sometimes forget that they beside one of the greatest rivers in North America. Bridges, though high & massive are few & far between. Only the occasional ship funnel seen above the endless linear hill brings the reality home.
