Trinity Church, Boston Photos

Trinity Church, on Copley Square, is based on the Romanesque style, but departs from it in the richness of its decoration, the use of several colors of stone, & other details. It brought its architect, Henry Hobson Richardson, to prominence & the style called Richarsonian Romanesque became a national fashion at the end of the 1800s.
