Industrialist Henry Ford collected important artifacts & buildings into a museum & created a heritage American village called Greenfield. Using his automotive wealth, Ford moved buildings associated with famous Americans to the site & exhibited milestones in the evolution of automobiles, rail rolling stock, aviation history & items from America's industrial revolution. Opened in 1929 by President Herbert Hoover, the collection has continued to evolve ever since. |
