United Nations Building (1952) Photos

The United Nations Secretariat and General Assembly Buildings (1952) (1st Ave. between 42nd - 48th St. overlooking the East River) sit on land which is technically outside of United States control. The complex was designed by an international consortium of 11 architectural firms including those of Le Corbusier and Oscar Niemeyer.
