Mount Vernon Hotel Museum Photos

The Mount Vernon Hotel (421 East 61st St.) sits at what used to be a ferry pier on the East River. At the time of its founding in 1826, the hotel was in the countryside of Manhattan & became a place of escape from the heat & noise of New York. Today the Mount Vernon Hotel is a museum restored to its earliest period.
