Sioux Falls, SD Photos

Sioux Falls, South Dakota, grew up around waterfalls which promised water and power in an otherwise dry prairie landscape. Two notable buildings punctuate the skyline: the Old Courthouse which now houses a small museum and the Cathedral on an escarpment overlooking downtown. The Cathedral is now surrounded by the Cathedral Historic District with dozens of mansions and other heritage architecture.
