Bali Temples Photos

The Hindu culture on the island of Bali has thousands of temples & shrines. Some are important to the whole Island, some are village level, some for family compounds & the bulk are in homes. Balinese temples are noted for elaborate carvings, meru (odd-numbered multi-roofed towers), & numerous offerings as befits a very active religious life. Photos include the famous monkey & bat temples.
