Golden Gate Park, San Francisco Photos

Golden Gate Park runs from Stanyan Street west to the Pacific Ocean for approximately 50 blocks. The park is noted for two major museums, a series of lakes and recreational facilities and two windmills near the ocean. The Music Concourse plaza between the de Young & California Academy of Sciences was the site of the California Midwinter International Exposition of 1894.
