Oakland & Alameda, CA Photos

Oakland, CA & Alameda just a short tunnel away has become a major suburb of San Francisco since its housing prices are cheaper and there are many Victorian heritage houses dating from the building boom after the 1906 earthquake when Oakland was a major player in the reconstruction of San Francisco. Oakland is linked to San Francisco directly by BART rapid transit, the Oakland Bay Bridge and ferries.
