Museum of Egyptian Art, Munich, Germany Photos

The Museum of Egyptian Art in Munich (Museum Ägyptischer Kunst) mimics many aspects of an Egyptian tomb as it sits below grade under a building (2013) designed by architect Peter Böhm (at Gabelsbergerstr. 35). The collection is large, with many fine works of art and provides perspectives by time, by type of object, and by various cultures around Egypt. It boasts innovative interactive technology to explain objects like a long ancient scroll Egyptian book of the Dead.
