Phillips Collection, Washington, DC Photos

The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC was founded in 1921 by Duncan Phillips in a family house (1897) off Dupont Circle (1600 21st St. NW). By 1930 the building was filled with art and an extension gallery has since been added. The collection specializes in European Old Masters and Expressionists, plus various modern American works.
