Corner Chairs Photos

Corner chairs are essentially square with either two matching backs or arms at a right angle. One sits diagonally. Some were built to use corner spaces efficiently. Others are called sword chairs, since they are said to allow a man wearing a sword to sit without hitting the arm of the chair. Others served to allow gentlemen to sit while a barber shaved him in his chamber.
