Drawer Drop-front Desks Photos

Some antique drop-front desks provided the working surface by means of a hinged drawer. Once the drawer was slid into an open position, then the vertical front of the drawer was opened into a horizontal angle so together with the drawer bottom they created a writing surface. One clue to recognition is a circular metal brace on work surface edges.
