Silver Coffee & Tea Services of 1800s Photos

At the beginning of the 19th C, tea & coffee pots started getting more elaborate in their decoration but kept to traditional shapes, even using Georgian models of the 18th C. Growing demand for coffee led to greater specific coffee pots & then sets (services) with pots to serve coffee & tea plus matching cream & sugar bowls. For households which could only afford limited silver ownership, the coffee & tea service was the high priority prestige option.
