Islamic Ceramics Photos

The Islamic world has long produced a colorful range of ceramic plates and vessels. Those made in Iznik are on their own page (see link below). Note that Fritware is an earthenware clay into which ground glass is added so the final product is harder and forms at a lower temperature.
