Old North Church & Copp's Hill Burial Ground, Boston Photos

The Old North Church (1733) (193 Salem St.) was designed by William Price. It is best known because its tower was used to signal Paul Revere as to which route the British were using to raid Patriot arms caches in Lexington and Concord. Lanterns were hung in the North Church tower to signal "One if by land, and two if by sea". A square behind the Church hosts a statue of Paul Revere. Up a short hill in this North End area is the Copp's Hill Burial Ground.
