St. Louis Museum of Transportation Railway Collection, MO Photos

The St. Louis Museum of Transportation west of downtown St. Louis has one of the largest collections of railway locomotives, passenger and freight cars in the United States, appropriate since St. Louis was the first major rail crossing of the Mississippi River and a railroad gateway to the American west. The Museum also has a significant collection of automobiles and other modes.
