National Museum of Wales Art, Cardiff Photos

The National Museum of Wales, which since 2011 includes the National Museum of Art, is located in Cardiff. The museum was founded in 1905 and moved to its current building in the 1920's. The 500 years of paintings range from Old Masters to contemporary works. The collection is known internationally for its Impressionist & post-Impressionist French art, assembled and donated to by the Davies sisters. Of special note is a collection of works by Welsh artists plus landscapes of Wales.
