Teddy Roosevelt Inaugural Site, Buffalo, NY Photos

Theodore Roosevelt became 26th US President in 1901 (until 1909) after the assassination of William McKinley in Buffalo. He took his oath of office in a friends house in Buffalo. The house is now run by the National Parks Service. Roosevelt lived 1858 to 1919.
