Given that many locomotives were old before they were even shipped to Indian & given that the railways were fragmented & picked up equipment on an ad hoc basis, the Railroad Museum in Delhi, India, has one of the most interesting & varied rail collections in the world. There is even a notable, steam monorail designed to run on a single rail with an outrigger on the public road beside it. |
