Dayton, OH is noted as the home of the Wright Cycle Shop where the Wright Brothers built the first airplane. Various Wright attractions are located about town. Also of note is the National Museum of the United States Air Force, one of the best aerospace museums in America. The Carillon Historical Park is an open air museum which covers Dayton's industrial and social history.
