Art Nouveau Movement Photos

The Art Nouveau era spanned roughly from 1899 to 1910 and was centered in Paris. Its signature was decorative arts with sinuous, swirling lines or drapes, naked women, dragonflies & flowers (e.g. poppies or lilies). As this style spread it picked up other names: in Germany = Jugendstil; Austria = Sezessionstil; Italy = Stile Floreale or Liberty; Spain = Modernismo.
